We’re often asked “what’s it like to work at Leomhann Enterprises?” or “how would you describe the corporate culture?” and there are no two questions we love entertaining more than these. 
We believe that our team and environment here at Leomhann Enterprises are as unique as they come. Citing our previous blog, our emphasis on team-building events, leadership training, and competition & recognition is prominent and defines our company’s values and the direction we look to go as an organization.

Being Bilo: Meet Leomhann Enterprises' Assistant Manager

From Ankara, Turkey to Fort Walton Beach, Florida, Columbus, Ohio to Cleveland, it’s been quite a journey over the last 10 years for Bilo Yuce to find Leomhann Enterprises.  
When you move to the United States at 17 years old speaking a foreign language and knowing no one but your immediate family, you have two choices at that time – you can 1) take the opportunity to reinvent yourself, adapting to your new surroundings and growing with them or 2) remain within your comfort zone, sticking with what is familiar and comfortable. Luckily Bilo, Assistant Manager here at Leomhann Enterprises, chose the first option!
After moving from Turkey to Florida and adjusting accordingly, Bilo chose to move yet again with his family to Columbus and attend Ohio State (he’s fearless, we know)! Studying Construction Systems Management with a concentration in Mechanical Engineering, Bilo spent the last 2 years of his schooling interning with a local construction company and an additional 5 years working full time with that company after his graduation. When he realized that construction was never going to provide him with work he was passionate about, he chose to go back to Ohio State and study zoology – a field he knew would get him excited to go to work everyday.
In the midst of completing his second degree and job searching, Bilo was offered a chance to help his friend start an online retail store selling fashion accessories! Intrigued by the opportunity, he agreed knowing business management skills would be a great addition to have on his resume. As if school & a start-up weren’t enough to keep him busy, Bilo ALSO accepted an entry-level sales representative position with a local Columbus based marketing firm, determined to graduate with improved leadership & communication skills!
As fate goes, Bilo met Leomhann Enterprises’s CEO, Jeff, there, and after graduating and selling his share of the online business, relocated with Jeff to help AT&T expand their Uverse services across Ohio. Now 15 months after his move to Cleveland, and a promotion of his own, Bilo is well on his way to a Management role here at Leomhann Enterprises. Open to helping the company and client grow anywhere outside of Ohio, 2018 is looking like the year of Bilo!
When asked what his favorite thing is about working at Leomhann Enterprises, Bilo quickly replied “the opportunity to train people. I love seeing people start with our company with no background in sales, training them, and then watching their professional development. The transformation of people is really inspiring.”
When he’s not working or offering the best training to new team members, you can catch him with his 3 pups, spending time with his significant other, cheering on Chelsea FC, or growing fresh vegetables & herbs in his sun room! An entrepreneurial introvert, there’s always a new book on Bilo’s nightstand or colleague he’s emailing to further his growth as a leader.

A Look Inside the Culture at Leomhann Enterprises

If you’ve ever taken an interview preparation course, you’ve most likely been told that one of the most important questions to ask a prospective employer is “What is the company culture like?” Why is this question so vital to ask? Leomhann Enterprises believes that individuals crave a work environment that possesses the same values and characteristics as they do. Here in Cleveland, OH, the culture is the best part of  our company! The following are four focal points of our work environment.

OFFICE NIGHTS

Every Thursday, the Leomhann Enterprises team gets together after work to do fun activities such as bowling, laser tag, game night, etc. Engaging as a team in these weekly activities has proven to be an effective bonding strategy, as it is the perfect way to get to know each other outside of work. Our Founder & CEO, Jeffrey, says, “The work environment is very upbeat and “work hard play hard”. We have a lot of fun, work hard all week, and then top it off on Thursday night with office night.” 

LEADERSHIP TRAINING

Leadership is a huge part of our culture. In fact, it’s one of our core values. Jeffrey explains, “At Leomhann Enterprises, we’re all about developing individuals to become the great version of themselves and helping them hit whatever goals they have set for themselves.” Not only do we set individual goals, we also set team goals, which creates unity and motivation within our culture. Like our Human Resources Manager, Abbigail, says, “You spend so much time at work with your coworkers, so I feel like it’s so important to have that relationship with them and to feel like they’re your family. The positivity and energy we have is definitely my favorite part of the business.”

COMPETITION & RECOGNITION

At Leomhann Enterprises, we’re all about rewarding hard work. Our management team rewards those who reach their weekly goals with perks such as gift cards, dinners, and even homemade pies. (That’s not a joke; our Human Resources team bakes a pie for any team member that is promoted to Corporate Trainer, haha!) From Starbucks cards to performance bonuses from our client, our team members are constantly being recognized for going the extra mile!

ATTITUDE

The “attitude” of our culture is something were immensely proud of. We foster a positive, team-oriented work environment. As Assistant Manager Winston notes, “My favorite thing about working here is the family feel and camaraderie that we have in the office.” We promote an environment that is free of negativity and is solution-oriented rather than problem-focused. HR Administrator Brea mentions, “I love that everyone comes into the office with a smiling face and asks how you are. The Game Winston Is Winning: Leomhann Enterprises’ New Assistant Manager

It’s been quite a year for Winston Thomas, newest Assistant Manager here at Leomhann Enterprises in Cleveland, OH! In the past 400 days since starting with our organization in June 2016, Winston has traveled to Texas, Louisiana, and Idaho, built and overseen a team of over 10 individuals, set sales records for our client, and been promoted to Assistant Management within our company’s Management Program. Despite making it look effortless, Winston has put in countless time, sweat, and practice into perfecting his craft, preparing our organization for expansion in the first quarter of 2018.
Born in Fortsville, Oklahoma, Winston grew up as the only child of an Army family and was accustomed to moving every 2 years due to new stations from the military. Traveling constantly, Winston recalls having to make friends quickly by being sociable and outgoing. Spending the most time in Baumholder, Germany, (a total of 5 years), Winston remembers leading a disciplined and structured childhood and spending a considerable amount of time with his mom (you rock, Mrs. Thomas), as his dad was deployed to both Afghanistan and Iraq (thanks Mr. Thomas for your service)!
When his father retired in 2005, the family moved a final time to Columbus, OH as Winston was entering his High School years. Slightly overweight as a child (eating all of that delicious German food), Winston used the move to work on his health and started trying out for the football and track teams.  A gifted athlete, he was offered a scholarship to play collegiate football at Wittenburg University and started as a linebacker his sophomore to senior years.
A nursing student with a passion for taking care of others, Winston graduated in 4 years and was accepted into Western Virginia University to start his RN degree. Looking for a temporary job over the summer before returning to school in the fall, Winston found Leomhann Enterprises online and was attracted to the company’s energy and ability to help both customers and team members. When the CEO, Jeff Crawford, extended an invitation for Winston to join the team at a nationally held sales conference in Dallas, he accepted without quite understanding what he would experience. It was there he truly experienced all that Leomhann Enterprises had to offer as far as growth and made a long term commitment to the company and himself.
Just 13 months after making that decision, Winston was promoted into an Assistant Management role after successfully proving himself in customer acquisitions, customer service, sales and territory management, team building, interviewing, and training. Now in his new role, Winston will aid in things like payroll, human resources and even social media management for the company. With goals of building Leomhann Enterprises into the #1 office in the country for our client, Winston doesn’t plan on taking his foot off the gas anytime soon.
In his free time, Winston likes to spend time with his significant other, hang out with colleagues, and prepare for his future. With aspirations to own a house overseas and help Leomhann Enterprises expand into Europe, Winston knows everyday he has to deliver results and follow through on what he says he’s going to accomplish! What makes him successful is his patience, dedication, and commitment to grinding it out at work, even when times are hard.
Winston – we hope you know how proud of you we are and grateful for your leadership. You continuously impress us and help the office redefine excellence daily. Shout Out To Sam: Leomhann Enterprises Shining Star 🌟

This month, Leomhann Enterprises wanted to highlight someone we feel has been making a great mark in our company. She started with the firm only 6 weeks ago but has already made a lasting impression. Why? Her aura. Every day Sam comes into the office looking to add value to the team and help others. Even though she is relatively new to the company, she applies her historically studious tendencies to master new skills and learn from others. Her positive energy and desire to become better both motivates and inspires our entire team.
Sam Robison was born inNortheast Ohio in a town called Chardon. She grew up extremely studious (we aren’t too surprised there because of how diligent she works in our office to learn new skills), and as a part of an incredibly tight, supportive family. Even from a young age, Sam proved to be very gifted and multi-talented, participating in baton twirling from 2nd to 6th grade and Girl Scouts.
As she moved up into middle school and high school Sam was accepted into the National Honor Society and took a lot of AP classes to set her up for success in college (which completely paid off since she graduated from Kent state a full year early)!!
Fun Fact: When Sam turned 18, she became a vegetarian!
However, more than a book worm, Sam found she had a deep passion for helping people and giving back to others. At Kent State, she studied Psychology and realized that any profession she took in the future had to be extremely people oriented; somewhere she could help make a difference. That’s actually a huge reason she found Leomhann Enterprises to be a great fit for her next career! She could not only move into a sales and customer-service oriented position with high levels of in-person interaction, but she would also be able to work closely with our clients in the future to help improve their marketing strategies.
Sam categorizes herself as a pet lover and homebody. On weekends, you can catch her at home snuggling up with her pit bull, Duke, or rescue cat, Oliver, over some movies or a new book. Currently, her favorite shows are Supernatural, Grey’s Anatomy,  and Gilmore Girls (the original and the newest season). Her genre of reading varies from fiction to self-improvement, and you can currently find Rich Dad & Poor Dad on her nightstand.
Extremely ambitious and travel hungry, one of Sam’s main goals is to consistently learn a new skill or fact every day. With humility as one of her core values, Sam intends to learn something from everyone she meets in order to advance professionally. Career-wise, she sees herself moving into a managerial position where she can oversee a branch office for our client and make an exponential impact on people. While she is extremely steadfast and committed to hitting her goals, she is also very understanding of the need for patience and consistency and is determined to enjoy the journey.

Founder & CEO

I’m originally from Montana and moved to Ohio in 2006.  After high school graduation, I enlisted in the National Guard.  I graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Political Science degree.  While at BGSU, I served as Vice President for Phi Delta Theta. Right before my senior year, I was deployed to Qatar, and finished school upon my return.

I started my career with the firm in May of 2014 and earned my promotion to Assistant Management in August of 2015. My excellent resilience and adaptability from my military training increased my success. My future plans are to continue to grow Leomhann Enterprises and develop great communication skills for a future political career, which will only be enhanced by the experience and growth I receive being an entrepreneur.

I grew up on a farm in a small town called New Bloomington, Ohio. In my younger years, I was involved with 4-H and took pigs to the fair. After graduating high school, I was accepted into Bowling Green State University, where I decided to use my creative skills towards a major in Visual Communication Technology. While at school, I focused on graphic design and photography. I joined Delta Zeta Sorority and was greatly involved in the Greek life all throughout college. After college, my husband and I moved to Columbus, Ohio to broaden career opportunities, and I joined the team in September 2014 as an administrative assistant. Through my hard work and dedication and my personal and professional growth, I was promoted to Human Resources Manager in November 2015.

I am a Carolina native and have the wonderful pleasure of calling Ohio my home away from home. I’ve spent the majority of my time growing up in a small town, Galena, which hardly anyone has heard of. I graduated from Wittenberg University and was a student athlete for the women’s track and field team for four years. While being associated with Leomhann Enterprises, I found myself not only craving the opportunity to prosper, but to also having the chance to put my true potential towards a career I will flourish in. I’m more than ecstatic for the coming opportunities this company has to offer and the doors that will be opened, all while pushing myself to become better.

The 20-Second Rule Is the Key to Achieving More!


The “20-Second Rule” was created by happiness guru Shawn Achor and discussed in depth in his best-selling book, The Happiness Advantage: The Seven Principles of Positive Psychology that Fuel Success and Performance at Work. Achor could not find a way to motivate himself to learn to play guitar, something he always wanted to do. Getting his guitar ready took only 20 seconds, but those seconds were a deterrent. Achor’s solution? Keep the guitar unpacked and nearby so that it was ready when he was motivated to practice. After doing this, he practiced for 21 days straight.


Keep those items that make you more productive or on which you want to work within 20 seconds of reach--for example, a business book you’re reading or a stretch project that needs completion. In that same vein, keep all the negative things--junk food or time-wasters--outside a 20-second grasp, to make them harder to access.

Top Student Entrepreneurs on What Keeps Them Motivated

We're all about those start-ups! Being a student AND an entrepreneur is something to be admired!

Being an entrepreneur is not an easy task. Add a full academic course load to the mix, and managing your time can suddenly seem like a Herculean feat.

Case in point, during Inc.'s internal 2017 Coolest College Startups judging, Bacon Boxes founders Logan Rae and Kimberly Hruda--students at Florida Atlantic University and Florida State University, respectively--experienced the full thrust of that Greek myth. The company, which makes made-to-order bacon goodies, got slammed by a 13,000 person event, requiring them to scramble to fill orders.

Of course, this is the dream. Building a successful business, in many ways, is what these student entrepreneurs set out to do. Even so, it can be tricky to juggle. After canvassing this year's College Startup winners, here is what many said helps keep them motivated amid all of the midterms, papers and crowdfunding campaigns.

1. "I am constantly searching for television shows, videos and any type of reading material that highlight founders who are in the startup phase." --Ryan Diew, co-founder ofTrippie and student at Colgate University

Keeping in touch with entrepreneurial trends helps Diew learn what he needs to drive his own company to success. Additionally, receiving feedback from Trippie's users helps him revise his product and make any necessary improvements.

2. "I am motivated to create a legacy that stands for something and will one day make my family and the world proud." --Matthew Rooda, co-founder of SwineTech, student at University of Iowa

Rooda has come to realize that the pursuit of perfection doesn't excite him, but rather, the everyday actions he takes for SwineTech. By using his own company to inspire his will to succeed, Rooda foresees that his hard work today could pay dividends for generations to come.

3. "I find each person's willingness to continually share their successes and struggles both inspiring and motivating." --Brianna Wolin, co-founder of Find Your Ditto, student at University of Michigan

A patient blogger herself, Wolin finds her drive from the everyday interactions she has online, where she finds common footing with those who follow her on social media. Similar to Rooda, Wolin hopes to make a positive difference in the world. She credits her followers with giving her team the strength it needs to continue its efforts for Find Your Ditto.

Entry Level Sales & Marketing Associate Responsibilities: 
Serves customers by selling products; meeting customer needs; team development
This is a manager-in-training position. You will start entry level and move into management. 
Entry Level Job Duties:
  • Services accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on potential customers.
  • Uses systematic content of sales presentations to each customer.
  • Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of experienced consultants.
  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
However, it can't be all work and no play!
Once a week, everyone from Leomhann Enterprises gets together to do something outside of the office. People develop camaraderie which leads to a more intense commitment to assisting them reach their objectives. It permits the human resources and management group to get to understand everybody on a more individual level. 
Minimum qualifications:
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 0-6 years relevant experience in a leadership role
Preferred qualifications:
  • Internship experience in sales, marketing and account management.
  • Interest in developing customer partnerships.
  • Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize, plan, and organize sales activity.
